Galiano Island

My family and I took a bicycle trip with family and friends last month. One of my goals was to paint large, to practice for my upcoming Washington State Ferries artist-in-residency. I prepped sheets of 11” x14” watercolor paper and packed my favorite gator board folio and tripod, as well as my studio palette and some big brushes! Also, as always, I had my Art Toolkit.

Port Gamble Sketches

I headed out for a little breakfast and sketching date in Port Gamble.

Bainbridge Art Exhibit

I’m exhibiting with the Bainbridge Arts & Crafts Gallery in Winslow from Oct 3-Nov 2nd.

Ferry Residency Update

It was a joy to be sketching on board and learning more about the WA State Ferry vessels, crew, and passengers.
